Prince Setanta Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners No 1446
Installation meeting Monday 17th March 2025 at the Cricket Club, West Park Drive, Blackpool

An inaugural Team visit to an installation and indeed the first installation at the Cricket Club, the new berth for the Prince Setanta Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners, for the installation of Bro. Christopher Tittley SW Master elect.
The Worshipful Commander, WBro. Peter Walker ProvRAMGR opened the Lodge with 36 members and guests being present. The Commander worked through the summons, which included a Memoriam for Bro. Frank Kennedy, a member of the Lodge who had recently passed away. The assembled Brethren stood to order for departed merit.
The PGM, RWBro. Keith Alan Beardmore GMRAC, entered the Lodge with members of the Provincial team and was warmly welcomed by the Commander and offered the sceptre of the Lodge, which was received and swiftly handed back.
WBro. Walker then proceeded to install his successor into the chair of the Lodge in an excellent and sincere manner.
Bro. Tittley then appointed and invested his Officers for the year.
Following a collection for Masonic Charities, the Lodge was closed and the Brethren mustered in the bar whilst the assembled crew derigged the Lodge room and rerigged it for dining.
The festive board; a superb buffet style meal, was thoroughly enjoyed by all and was accompanied by buoyant and lively discussions throughout!

The RWPGM responded to the toast to his health and wished the Lodge well for the future and its continued success at the Cricket Club along with the Prince Setanta Mark Lodge.

A raffle (Farrar Fiddle) was organised by WBro. Bob Bennet, which raised £226 for charity.
An enjoyable and very successful Installation night was had by all, at the Lodges new home of the Cricket Club!
